TONY BROOK
Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Tony Brook is known primarily a designer, but also an artist, educator, publisher, collector, and curator. He founded the London based studio SPIN in 1992 with his partner Patricia Finegan.
The studios has a reputation for creating innovative contemporary identities for an international clientele, working in print, motion and digital media. The studio has been featured in many books, magazines, and numerous exhibitions.
Recent clients include Apple, BBC, Comme des Garçons, Ministry of Sound and MUBI. In 2009 he founded the independent publisher Unit Editions, which produces books on graphic design and visual culture with Patricia and design author Adrian Shaughnessy. Tony was admitted to the Alliance Graphique Internationale in 2006 and is currently a professor at ISIA in Urbino, Italy.
