Andrew Warburton established Area Rugs and Carpets in 2002 to design and manufacture custom hand tufted rugs, wall hangings and carpets for both private and commercial interiors. With over 35 years as being a hand tufted rug maker, Andrew has established Area Rugs and Carpets as one of the leading hand tufting companies in the UK.

Andrew designs one off pieces as well as collaborating with artists, architects, interior designers and fashion designers. Most of his work is for prestigious reception areas for offices such as HSBC, Freemantle Media and the BBC.
